We cannot fix it anyways

Chapter 2

"You guys are gross! Come on–for my sake, get a room" Paris spoke.

They chuckled sweetly, both Jewish and Christiana. Their arms wrapped around each other's waists romantically, while walking so smoothly at the streets pavement. They've just got back from visiting the park called 'Bois De Boulogne' around 7 pm. Although the sun has already, completely set by then. This evening is wonderfully happening in winter.

The dreamy, romantic minded Paris chose to drift away with her thoughts. Instead of fixating on the both newly love birds. Who have been scared to confess each other's feelings for centuries. Their friendship has reached the maximum of six years. Today they really indeed proclaimed six years, as three of them went all out meet with the others. All five of them altogether to celebrate their friendship anniversary. Even in college they kept that momentum to always value the years they've shared. Because nothing has ever mattered to them like their friendship. But unfortunately Ferris couldn't join them at all.

She stared, getting lost at the perfect planted trees that was beside the pavement. Gazing at the romantic streetlights aside, along at the streets. The leaves aroma makes her miss the Le vral Paris Cafe they also visited today at the beginning of their date. It was so perfect, well planned and successful. Nothing was not fun at all....Oh well, besides that Ferris wasn't present to the table nor available as their best friend. Paris almost choked when she thinking of that, pushing the straw forth; away from her full lips just to pause a little.

Paris's had the biggest eyes with longest lashes. Usually her friends will tease where with. They remarked that maybe she doesn't belong in this planet, they'll go as far as saying she might be incarnated from a Barbie. Her face really did portrait like one, it was no doubt. The most beautiful girl in the group, of course everyone had their perfect facial features that no man would ignore as French girls, others were korean and Lattino. But her dark facial really stood out, especially she had the most white-ish eyes to compliment her brown skin. So everytime you take the first glance, you'd be taken by the glow and radiation her eyes.

She's miling alone at the pavement. Slowly walking with her combat black boots and black tight jeans, of course and a brown leather jacket. She really thought she was going to get lucky and finally get a ride tonight.

Ferris is really strict about whom he gets on his bike. Really they know, they are allowed to act crazy and free with him but you can't get too excited as far as touching Ferri's bike except his Queen Zolanda can.

"You know guys, you remind me when Zolaaay was introduced for the first time by Ferris at the Cafeteria– remember guys?"

Paris remarked, jogging their memory, throwing a brief glance at them. Realising they were still intimately walking, four centimetres away from her.

"Oh yah, oh yah. Hit me bro"

Jewish giggled, raising his smoothie in a tower of a white cup with a straw. Pausing first in the air before Paris could also raise hers and they softly smashed their cups.

"During our elimentary school days! Damn! it feels far away. When was that?"

"In 2016 y'all were doing grade 10 and y'all were babies" Christiana mimicked, pouting her pinkish, tiny french lips.

"Ncaawww" She petted, jewish's small inch beard under his chin, he hasn't shaved yet.

"Stop! If this relationship got to work, you gotta realise I'm a man! a French man, the bonjour type of man, say bonjour sugar daddy"

Christiana and Paris giggles hilariously listening to one of the Jewish's usual jokes, a definite clown itself. Always grabbing the limelight.

"Hey! ey! I'm just sayin' I'm just sayin!'"

He lifted his smoothie in the air, spreading his arms. "Just because you two years older than me. It doesn't mean a thing"

"Gosh I just cannot believe that held you back all along!" Paris astounded.

Christiana rolled her eyes, feeling Paris's statement a pain in the ass when she thinks about the time they've waisted. She's only 25 but it's makes her feel like they old already and she has missed out a lot with Jewish.

"Well it was part of it" She said.

"Wasup? How now? But you just told me that's because I was a player. I mean Bee? Have I ever played anyone?" Jewish did a slow tango on the pavement playfully.

Paris bursted out in a laughter, looking upward in the sky as her shoulder slumped back and she bent her knees like they just placed yolks over her shoulders.

"Please, please do not make me part of this, if I start now I'll endup farting. Long sad story it is" Paris murmured.

"Your story is too long– really. Who wouldn't date someone just because of their age gap?"

Christiana rolled her eyes to suck her tall purple staw. "Oh yeah! tell her. Have you forgotten "Miss Prefect, slash! Elimentary top five honour student? She really thought that my winnie wouldn't fit in"

Both Paris and Christiana laughed at his uttering.

"You insane Jewish, oh my Go...." Paris choke instantly by her milkshake, bowing down to gasp some air. The sentence said by Jewish just couldn't stop repeating in her head. There was no gasping air really, it has fled from her lungs. She wanted a hole to open on the ground and jump inside of it just to laugh.

"Ahhhhhhh!!!" The screams spiralled on the streets.

All of them hold back on their feets instantly. They've stopped walking and turned over their heads to where they suspected the scream spiralled at. Everybody's smoothies shook on their hands. Sadly Paris might have seen a dark figure from the sky going down from the building that was across the street. A bit further from the road that was beside their pavement.

"Did you saw that?" She asked nervously.

"Wha...what was that? Christiana asked extremely unsettled. She looked at Paris and Jewish, alll three of them right away attached their eyesight at the nearby road on their right. Just a few mitres from the pavement they were walking on. The screams sounded like they came from Medical emergency hospital, one of the tallest buildings in Paris city. Their saliva went dry. They are now seeing women and men running away.

"Should we take a look? I think we should get out of here guys" Jewish mimicked with a horrified look.

Christiana has already stepped away from the pavement, walking over the garden that was separating the pavement and the road that was on the other side.

"Guys....guys!" She panicked, feeling the inches of her bones trembling. They both turned over their heads, not knowing how the hell did Christiana reached there and slipped away in their sights.

So unsettled they stared, widening their eyes at her direction.

"I think....I think there's a... there's a figure lying there somewhere" She mumbled, trying to make sense.

"Somewhere where? What do you mean somewhere?" Jewish questioned. Searching with his gazes everywhere. Well atleast to where he was standing, he wouldn't dare and go nearer. Either way it was not much to see on his side, unless he stepped over the garden.

His stomach groaned the moment he had that thought to step over like Christiana and see. His intestines groaned so much they made noise. He felt that he can poop at anytime.

"Oh no hell no guys let's just, let's just leave. I have a bad feeling about this" He said this touching his stomach.

"Babe, babe? get over this fence and let's just leave. We all leaving Paris"

"Leaving?" That word finally woke Paris's shocked self back to reality. She's thinking, after the nicest night out with all of their buddies and now this?

"What do y'all mean we should leave? This...this skin surgery is our neighbour"

"It's a medical emergency hospital, Paris" Jewish shakingly corrected her.

"Yes the medical emergency whatever...."

She said, shaking her head to get herself back to her senses. Wondering why in the world would she say surgery? But that's when the flash back took her back as the name surgery was still sniffed in to her head.

And then she went from surgery to Gynaecologist word. Instantly the gyna word opened a door of a forgotten memory at the back of her head. She remembers herself with her friends. All five of them sat at the Le Ocean Sea restaurant, talking nicely. Jewish making his jokes as usual among their friends and they all laughed. They were tapping the restaurant's table, as it was the sign they were all out of their breaths. She was sat next to Larry at that time. Until suddenly a message popped up from Ferris, sent to Jewish and he showed everyone at what he had just recieved.

"Ahh, man! Look guys, look–again!"

In all our faces the message from Ferris was written. "Sorry pal won't make it this evening, say Hi to the girls and Halla the boys. Bonjour–he signed at the bottom"

"Not even an explanation, not even a tilt. Come Larry, get a smoothie with me"

And than an SMS to Paris's skinny jeans beeped with a heavy vibration. "Aw, is this person is calling or what?" She immediately reached out to her pants.

Squeezing her her fingers in, struggling so hard to pull it out. She has the widest hips and so it was war. She had no idea why the hell did she even slipped squeezed her phone in there. Instead of just simply putting it away inside her leather jacket.

Slightly shaking her head, looking at the report on her phone. She's catching Ferris calling her but as soon as she picked up, he hung up. She cringes it was clear that maybe he was buzzing her. She was so ready to dose him with a lots of questions that he should have been prepared to answer.

"Insane" She spoke within herself.

That's when she discovered a message left after his call and she right away read.

"Sorry, I have to pick up Zolanda to her gynaecologist, She's not doing very well. Really I'm worried. Hope you guys smash without me. Bonjour–He signed as usual"

So swiftly the memory pushed her back in reality, to remind her that she's still sadly standing at the scenario of wanting to discover at what just happened in front of them. Why was everybody screaming? How the hell did their day turn upside down over a single scream?

"What do you mean leave? Ferris sent me an SMS earlier sayin' They're going to see a gynaecologist. So we do not know which that is" Paris confessed.

"Ferris sent you a text? When? and why didn't you show us?" Christiana mimicked.

"Geez! Ferris could be in any hospital. Even if it's that one. Why the hell would we think that's figure it's him?"

"Ahhh! Oh my God!! Somebody jumped off the building!!" Some woman screamed on top of her lungs, crossing the streets.

The minute they all heard that statement from a lady who afar from them. Who they unbelievably watched, crossing the road with a speed in distraught. Without a delay they all automatically gulloped, crossing over the garden and the road without thinking twice this time. They just had to see, they just had to see. All in their heads it's what they kept thinking about.
