Edwin Stanley rushed to school, a few stray thoughts bouncing in his mind when suddenly he heard a voice echo inside his head:

**Ding! Congratulations to the host for binding with the Tycoon System!**

**Ding! To crack the system, the host needs to perform a good deed to prove they are a good person!**

His heart raced with excitement. As an avid web novel fan, Edwin recognized the classic "system" setup. This was his chance—do a good deed, unlock the system, and have everything he desired: wealth, luxury cars, and beautiful women.

Just then, a frantic cry broke his thoughts. “Help! Someone’s had a stroke!”

Edwin’s eyes widened. The opportunity had arrived!

He sprinted toward the nearby park, where a crowd had gathered. Pushing his way through, he spotted a stunning woman in her twenties, Arabella Autumn, lying unconscious on the ground. Next to her, a girl with tear-streaked cheeks looked lost and frightened.

“Why does she look so familiar?” Edwin wondered briefly, but time was of the essence. He knelt beside Arabella, quickly assessing her condition.

“Excuse me, everyone, I know first aid. Can you step aside so I can check on her?” he urged.

The girl next to Arabella, Evie Grace, stepped back, still trembling but giving Edwin space. Edwin quickly checked Arabella's pulse, confirming his fears: she was suffering from an acute stroke.

“Call 911! I’m going to provide preliminary treatment!” he instructed Evie.

“Okay!” she nodded, shaking off her shock as she fumbled with her phone.

Edwin took out a handkerchief, folded it into a square, and placed it in Arabella's mouth to prevent her from biting her tongue. He then worked to relax her limbs, trying to prevent paralysis from blocked blood vessels.

Just as he finished, Arabella's body began to convulse, her face contorting in pain. Edwin’s heart raced; he realized her nostrils were blocked by a blood clot, threatening to suffocate her.

He had to act fast but felt conflicted. There was a clear line between helping her and taking advantage of her vulnerable state. However, Arabella's life was on the line.

Determined, Edwin pressed down on her chest, performing CPR. With each compression, he counted silently, trying to keep a steady rhythm.

“You scumbag! Are you taking advantage of my unconscious friend?” Evie shouted as she returned, fury flashing in her eyes.

“Arabella has a blood clot blocking her airway. If I don’t disperse it, she will suffocate!” Edwin shot back, trying to maintain focus.

“If you don’t believe me, call someone,” he added, meeting Evie’s glare with determination. “But I won't take responsibility for any delays in treatment.”

Evie’s expression softened a bit, but she still looked wary. “Alright, I’ll trust you—for now. But I’m watching you.”

“Get help from the nearby clinic!” Edwin urged.

Evie nodded and dashed off, her footsteps echoing in the park as Edwin turned back to Arabella.

“Arabella, I hope you understand; I’m just trying to save your life,” he murmured, removing the handkerchief from her mouth. He continued his compressions, leaning down for mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, his heart pounding.

One, two, three… twenty-five, twenty-six, twenty-seven...

Onlookers murmured, some expressing concern while others made crude remarks.

“Wow, this guy is taking advantage of a beauty in broad daylight!” one person joked.

“Can’t you see? He’s trying to save her!” another retorted.

“If he hadn’t shown up, she’d be done for!”

Amid the commotion, Evie returned, panting heavily. “Make way! The school doctor is here!”

The crowd parted, revealing June Mars, the school doctor. She approached Arabella with purpose. Edwin felt a wave of relief wash over him; he was familiar with June, having spent three years as a student at North America University.

“Natasha, I need you to assist me,” June instructed, her focus sharp.

Edwin nodded, moving aside as June crouched beside Arabella.

“Help me roll up her right sleeve,” she said.

Edwin complied, rolling up Arabella’s sleeve to expose her arm. They had to work quickly and efficiently; removing her clothing in public wasn’t an option.

June set up the diagnostic machine and placed probes on Arabella’s arm. The crowd buzzed with curiosity, leaning closer to see.

“Natasha, tell everyone to step back,” June ordered.

Edwin stood and began directing the crowd, who reluctantly took a few steps back, though many still wanted to witness the scene.

The machine whirred to life, and Edwin watched as the heartbeat graph began to stabilize. Arabella was still unconscious, but at least she was no longer in immediate danger.

“Edwin, we owe you big time for this. If you hadn’t acted so quickly, Arabella might not have made it,” Evie said, her expression softened with gratitude.

A smile crept across Edwin’s face. He had done it—his good deed was complete.
