Marie was sad about the fact that the only person she trusted in this world broke her heart like this. Multiple thoughts came to her mind. On one hand, she was fuming to get revenge while on the other she wanted to end her life by the very thought that she was betrayed by Ryan, the only person she had in her life.

__CHAPTER 1__

Marie sat beside the window in tears. Suddenly she remembered how she and Ryan met. They both were sworn enemies at first. She doesn’t know how she ended up falling for him later.

Marie started fashion designing and running her own company not too while ago. Within a very short time, she became one of the famous fashion designer and businesswoman in Chicago. Everyone started praising her. Every brands and companies were eager to hire her.

One day while entering the office she saw a tall young man with dark blue eyes standing in front of her office building. After having a quick glance at the sight of the beautiful man she went into her office making an expressionless face. Everyone knew she was an arrogant woman with a very rude personality yet no one had the audacity to say anything to her cause when it came to work she was better than everyone else. After all, that’s how she made her place among the top business companies of Chicago in such a short time.

As soon as she stepped inside the elevator the man followed her and said “Can we talk for a moment”? She still maintained her expressionless face and glanced at her secretary,

“Please make an appointment . She will meet you when it will be your turn” secretary Julie said professionally.

But the man was indifferent. He said with a smile, “I am Ryan, an employee from Clouds and we would like to work with you for our next project”

“I decline.”

“ Make sure not to accept any requests from ‘Clouds company. We will never do any co operation with them because of their employee’s unprofessional attitude” She looked at Julie who nodded her head immediately.

Ryan laughed and said “So the rumors were true. The great designer and owner of Sapphire Marie Jones is actually a ‘rude b*tch’ like many said”.

“You are still standing there I see. Get him out.” she said without any expression

The next few days secretary Julie showed her a lot of emails from the owners of Clouds who were repeatedly asking her to take some time out to meet them . She showed no interest until the owner of Clouds himself showed up. Clouds wasn’t a big company. It was just one of those many small companies who were trying their best to reach the top. She asked Julie to send him inside her office.
