The Famous Johnson's family of New York City organises a family reunion each Christmas season. This reunion was set in place by their forefather's and passed unto the future generations, it entails all the family traditions of the foster year's.
This year, Emma Johnson,the famous soprano
a lady who sings in an opera
,with a blond complexion,short brown hairs and a height of about 1.60 meters has taken the responsibility to cover all the expenses for the upcoming family reunion making sure it is a success.
Despite all the internal family rivalry's concerning the location of this year's family reunion, Emma and her cousin Alex Johnson are bend on drawing the difference between their mother's and grandma Lynn on this matter.
Alex is not only Emma's cousin but also her assistant and counsellor as it concerns her career. Alex is close to the hearts of every family member since its believed he is a come back of his Father, Late Maxwell Johnson.
Maxwell, though he grew up in a family filled with extravagant luxury, always had a soft spot for the needy and the orphan's and felt bad knowing some kids do not have the opportunity of having Christmas socks filled with presents.
As a push factor, in his late 20's he was a well-known business pioneer. One out of his multiple industries "had the duty of filling socks with presents which will be distributed to the orphan's on Christmas eve. After his death, the Johnson's family made this a tradition honouring him.
On the other hand, We have Emma's parents Mr Peterson Johnson,son of the Johnson's family,married to Mrs Spark's. Mr Peterson has a light dark complexion,bald head with a pot belly. Though from an influential family he cares less about fashion and dressing compared to his wife Spark's who is so worked up about what she wears and how she looks which I guess had passed from her to her daughter Emma.
Grandma Lynn lives in a spacious country flat with her husband Grandpa Rex together with her daughter-in-law Anna and her grandchild Paul. Anna is married to Leroy Johnson,son of Mummy Rose,brother to Alex he's a pilot by profession and on this very Christmas period he was on duty and so was not in the country but the Johnson's hope he'll make it for the Family Reunion.
Emma and Alex want the reunion to take place at Grandma Lynn's house but they can not tell their parents about this in fear to hurt their feelings so they have arranged to look for the best event organizing firm to choose the most appropriate place for such event as well as help in planning and managing the events of the reunion.
A lot of event planner's were on the hunt for this contract bringing out their possible best to bring forth wonderful Christmas samples which had to be presented to Emma in no time. After viewing as many samples from different agents,Emma with the help of her cousin finally come to a conclusion that the"Charles Planning Firm" will be the best to plan their upcoming Christmas Family reunion.
"The Charles Planning Firm" was owned by Charles Brook who got promoted as CEO of the company because of his mother's close ties with the sole founder of the firm. Emma loved the sample's of the Christmas décor which was presented to her by Charles and as a result won the contract with the Johnson's.
Little did the Johnson's know that Charles had no experience when it came to event planning,what was saving Charles was the fact he had well trained and qualified employees with the most of them being Eva Williams.
Eva Williams was not just talented and inspired but when it came to Christmas décor she knows exactly what she's doing. She's the reason behind the firm winning the contract with the Johnson's for she worked off time to make it a success and therefore knew she will be at the forefront of the contract at least she thought so.
Unfortunately, Charles being selfish and self-centered had no plans of working towards Eva's expectations,but rather he planned on taking over the contract while Eva works at the background. When Eva heard of this she could not let it slight:
"There is no way I will accept you to do that with my work sir"
"And why will I not? am your boss and this is for the better of the firm" say's Charles
Eva being disgusted by his words rebukes " Just say you are envious of my work because you are inexperienced...This post of CEO is all thanks to your mum for I see no traits of a leader in you"
"You dare not speak like that to me" orders Charles " You might loose...
"Never mind for I quit and am taking all that belongs to me including Isabella if she wishes to follow me" Eva speaks with a straight face.
"As you wish,but you are not taking your designs with you for you produced them on working hours" blurts out a smile that did not reach his ears.
" unfortunately for you all those designs you so proud of are going with me because I did all that off working hours and we both know I do not get paid for extra hours".
Eva exits Charles office together with her designs and starts packing her belongings to leave. Just then her best friend appears with a box with her things in it looking at Eva smilingly
"Thanks BFF for going along with me" says Eva
"That's what friends do right and am sure you will find a new job in no time"
" I hope so Isabella" quite disappointed
" Why try to find another job when you can try winning the contract with the Johnson's on your on,you just have to tell them you are the one behind the wonderful designs"
" If it was that easy then I would not be this frustrated in the first place...can I sleep at your place till i find my way "
"Like you have to ask me,you are warmly welcome to my house as long as you want" happy Isabella moves alongside with Eva out of the firm.
