A suburban church, side entrance.

Today is the day Williams Lucas gets married. Smith Emily, deflated and wearied, made her way to the church's gate. She had heard that Lucas would be waiting inside the church.

And his bride-to-be is her aunt's daughter, Moore Ava. The man she loved was getting married, but the bride was not her. All because of a brain tumor operation ten months ago.

Before entering the operating room Lucas held Emily's hand and made

her a promise: "If I survive the operation, I'll make you my wife, Emily."

"Okay, I'll wait for you." Emily replied.

But, after she waited, he never remembered her. Even now, as Emily stood in front of him, to him, she was nothing more than a shameless

woman.

All the things they experienced over the years, like scenes from a

movie, swept frame by frame across Emily's mind. The man from her memories

was standing not far away, dressed in a white suit.

" Lucas..." When Emily called out his name, she felt a lump

in her throat, and tears welled up in her eyes.

Hearing his name, Lucas turned around. Like an arrow

released from its bow, Emily rushed forward and threw her arms

tightly around him.

Lucas's expression hardened as he took a

step back, pushing her away. A cold desolation filled his eyes, his gaze

distant and icy. He raised his hand to brush off his wrinkled white suit as if

rubbing away some kind of filth.

Lucas stared into Emily's hopeful eyes, and as their eyes met, undercurrents stirred. " Ava doesn't want you

at our wedding. And neither do I." The light in Emily's eyes disappeared all at once.

Some say true despair is unspeakable and unshed tears. At this moment, Emily understood this all too well. So, she lifted her head and smiled at Lucas, as pure and innocent as when they first met. The tears welling up in

the corners of her eyes slipped quietly down her face.

All of her hard work in the past ten months crumbled at this moment.

She knew she had lost.

"Then... I wish you a happy marriage. I don't blame you, really, I

don't blame you." Emily said deliberately, the rest of her

words remained unspoken, buried in her heart.

Your being alive is the greatest blessing from God to me. If one day you

recall our past, you would understand that I have done my best for us.

The bride of this wedding, Ava, quietly appeared.

She clung tightly to Lucas's arm, as if she's

afraid he would run away. She spoke in a playful, whimpered whisper. " Lucas, let's go in.” Lucas intentionally ignored the tightness in his chest and took Ava's hand, striding deep into the church. Emily stood still, her

eyes gradually blurring with tears. She understood that from now on, they would each go their separate ways, no longer intertwined.

Wiping away the tears at the corner of her eyes, she turned to leave.

Suddenly, something covered her mouth and nose, and within seconds, without any

chance to struggle, she passed out, feeling weak all over.

"Dad! The woman is waking up!"

A strange man's voice startled her, where was she?

The hurried footsteps echoed against the tin, the claustrophobic feeling

sent chills down Emily's spine. The cold tin pressed against her back, while the smell of blood in the air made her feel nauseous. In distance, she could hear the faint sound of waves.

"Oh, beauty, you're finally awake!" A beam of intense light

shone on Emily's face, so bright that she quickly

covered her eyes. Through her fingers, the bearded, sleazy face that made her shudder.

"You... Who are you?" she demanded.

"Son, do as I just taught you, take care of her! I'll keep

watch!" The sleazy man turned off the flashlight, and the container was

engulfed in darkness.

The weirdly ugly short man beside him lunged at her, Emily screamed, "Get off me! Get away from me!"

Then, his rough, calloused hands had already begun to wander. "You

smell so good, so beautiful!" The ugly man's heavy breathing sprayed

across Emily's face.

"No! No--!"

Emily's clothes, clutched tightly in his hands, were ruthlessly torn to pieces.

"I beg you, ah! please spare me!" Emily begged...

With her back against the corner Emily cried out in despair. She could not tolerate such humiliation. Mustering all her strength, she kicked the ugly man fiercely. as he screamed in pain, Emily fled in panic, going wherever she could.

In the faint moonlight, Emily stumbled into a cluster of

containers, running with all her might. Emily lost her shoes as the middle aged man and his ugly son pursued her with cruel laughter.

Emily had to hide.

Turning abruptly, Emily squeezed into the most remote container and quickly secured the metal door.

"Who is there?" a faint, yet piercing male voice echoed out from the darkness. Emily, breathless from running, was startled by the harsh voice that she held her breath.

"Help... help me, she whispered. "Don't make a sound.

Someone's after me outside."

Emily in her tattered clothes suppressed her voice as much as possible, as she edged closer to that mysterious voice. The closer she got, the clearer the man's heavy panting became, and the sticky smell of blood in the air became increasingly stronger.

"Are you hurt?" Emily asked.

"Get away!"

Brown Ethan never expected, his own sister would resort to such a low and dirty method to ruin him, if not for his quick reaction earlier, he would have already been delivered to a ship bound for the Philippines.

At this moment, he's like a weaned lion, using the last bit of

consciousness to resist the inflamed wicked thoughts. Just as he was about to

undo his belt, a woman burst in.

Damn it! he said.

And she was indecently dressed too. Could this be another of his

sister's traps?

The sound of hurried footsteps followed by harsh curses passed outside. Emily subconsciously leaned closer to Ethan, clutching his arm tightly out of fear, as she sought safety.

It seemed like Ethan was about to explode, his entire body feeling like it was burning up. The delicate touch on his arm made him gasp.

"Damn it!"

He pushed her down abruptly. Emily screamed in surprise as his lips

suddenly captured hers. Before she could reacted, he had forced her legs apart.

"What are you doing?!" Emily exclaimed in fright, struggling

desperately to break away from his grasp using all her limbs.

But then, he held the back of her head firmly as his lips and tongue

ravaged her mouth like a predator feasting on its prey. His body, hot as iron,

pressed against her skin as he tore away what remained of her clothes.

"You were specially arranged by that woman, right?!" he asked.

"I don't know what you're talking about. Let go!" Emily struggled frantically in panic. "Since you've offered yourself, stop pretending to be innocent!"

With the echo of his words, Ethan thrust into her brutally, filling her instantly. The pain! The pain was so intense that she could barely breathe.

"You... you're a monster!" she gasped.

Without sympathy, Ethan continued to thrust vigorously, covering her mouth. Emily's choked sobs echoed unendingly in the container.

The hot tears of Emily flowed from between Ethan's fingers. Her throat was hoarse, the heat inside her body surged, lifting her to the peak and then falling heavily. In the darkness, devoid of any light, the man's heavy breathing echoed in her ears.

In the end, Ethan's movements became faster and faster, and

finally, the raging lust within his body was released.

Calmness returned to the dark night, accompanied by the thumping beat of a powerful heartbeat.

"Thump, thump, thump..."

"Tell me your name, how much did that woman pay you? I'll give you ten times more if you stay quite." he said.

"Get out! I... I don't want to hear anything!" Emily hugged

herself, curling into a tight ball as tears streamed down her face.

Today is Lucas's wedding night, a night filled with discarded floral petals

and cold rouge.

Emily and Lucas, could never return to what they had been.
