“Oh no, Grandma anything else but that” Sammy groaned, feeling exhausted as he was walking away from the dining hall.

“Stop Right there, don’t you dare walk away when I am talking to you” Benita snapped back with a furious tone.

“I’m just trying right to have a nice and peaceful meal after a long day at work, and you’re ruining it” Sammy responded.

“You won’t find peace until you do what I have asked of you” Benita insisted firmly.

*Bam!!* The sound of Benita hands hitting the table echoed in the room.

“Grandma, I love you. But you’re asking for too much. I don’t want to do this” Sammy pleaded.

“It’s our duty to sustain our legacy, you’re a Fadd and you have to step up and do what fadd’s do.

“Don’t mess this up” Benita sipped a glass of water, dampened her mouth and took her leave.

And with that, Sammy was left standing there, torn between his own desires and the weight of family expectations. The future remains uncertain, hanging on the edge of a cliff, waiting to be decided.

Sammy Fadd is a young billionaire, with his sharp mind and relentless drive sustained an Empire that was built by his grandfather and left no stone unturned in his pursuit of success making it a global empire.

But amidst the extravagant Lifestyle in the opulent halls of their sprawling mansion, young billionaire Sammy grappled with the echoes of his grandmother's ultimatum.

“marry or jeopardize the family legacy!”. Benita Exclaimed.

Benita, a woman deeply rooted in traditional values and steadfast in her high standards, viewed marriage as more than just a connection of emotions.

For her, it was a calculated decision aimed at strengthening the family's influence and standing, a strategic move to solidify the family’s power and reputation.

She frequently organized extravagant dinner parties and social gatherings, where she eagerly sought out suitable partners for her cherished grandson.

Benita’s constant pressure for him to find a suitable wife and settle down weighed heavily on Sammy’s mind.

Ever since his parents' passing, his grandmother Benita Fadd had taken it upon herself to ensure the continuation of their family lineage.

"But Grandma," he objected with a touch of hesitation, "I'm uncertain if I'm prepared for the commitment of marriage. My current responsibilities are already overwhelming." His voice grew resolute.

Benita waved away his objections with a dismissive gesture.

"Nonsense, Sammy. You need to start thinking about the future of the Fadd family. And that means finding a suitable wife."

As the pressure of his grandmother mounted, Sammy felt his frustration mounting. He knew he couldn’t defy her outright. He sought to find a way to honor her without compromising his own desires.

Sammy sat on a worn bench in the serene judiciary park, a haven of peace amidst the chaotic urban environment surrounding it.

The gentle rustling of leaves and the soft chirping sounds of birds provided a symphony soothing sound. But Sammy’s mind was far from at ease.

As he idly watched the world pass by, he casually observed the world around him.

A thrilling sensation enveloped him. He sensed an unfamiliar energy, prompting him to wonder.

“What type of feeling is this, I have never felt this way before” he thought to himself silently in confusion.

His focus shifted to a distressed young woman seated next to him on the bench, capturing his gaze. She appeared lost in thought, her brow furrowed in concentration as she flipped through a stack of papers with a look of weary determination.

Captivated by her aura of serene strength, there was something about her, the air of quiet resilience that caught Sammy’s eye and held his gaze. He felt an irresistible pull towards this mysterious stranger. His inquisitiveness sparked by the unspoken stories written in the lines of her face. He pondered what the Challenges and hardships led her to this place, and what secrets lay hidden behind her guarded expression.

Lost in his musings, Sammy hardly noticed when the young woman glanced up from her papers, their eyes meeting in a fleeting connection.

In that suspended moment, time seemed to halt. For an instant, time seemed to stand still as they shared a silent exchange, two kindred spirits navigating the unpredictable currents of existence.

It was then that fate intervened, in the form of a familiar figure striding purposefully towards them across the park. Sammy’s grandmother, Benita, her eyes gleamed with anticipation as she approached.

"Sammy, there you are," she exclaimed, her voice ringing out clear and commanding mixed with excitement .

"I've been looking all over for you." Her words carry a sense of urgency.

Sammy’s posture stiffened, a sense of unease settling in his chest as his grandmother made her way towards him. He was all too familiar with the implications her unexpected arrival carried.

"Grandmother," he said, forcing a polite smile onto his lips, "here you are".

Benita’s gaze surveyed over the scene before her, taking in the sight of Sammy and the young woman sitting side by side on the bench. A mischievous smile played at the edges of her mouth, and Sammy felt a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach as he comprehended the conclusion she had made.

"Oh, I can tell I've interrupted something," Benita remarked, a twinkle of understanding in her eyes.

"I must say, Sammy , I'm thrilled to see that you've finally found a wonderful partner."

As she glanced at him in puzzlement, she recognized the plea for assistance in his eyes, prompting her to go along with the charade. A small grin tugged at her lips.

“So happy to finally meet you. What's your name? “ Benita asked with so much joy in her voice.

"Maxine Blue, Nice to finally meet you too, Grandma." She responded. Despite Sammy’s attempt to intervene, she smoothly interjected.

This unexpected turn left Sammy stunned, he couldn't help but feel a sense of relief at Maxine's quick thinking.

Earlier that day, he had found himself in a tricky situation. He had made arrangements for a fake marriage with a random stranger, but things took an unexpected turn.

His assistant had just informed him that the stranger had backed out and disappeared with the money they had paid her.

It was a stressful ordeal, but in that moment, as Maxine smoothly stepped in, Sammy felt a glimmer of relief, knowing that he wouldn't have to face his grandmother's disappointment and this would be a way for him to act fast.

"I'll catch up with you inside," Benita said, walking away from them.

Once Benita had left, leaving them alone again, Sammy turned to Maxine, his face serious.

"I'm sorry for the confusion ," he stated, his voice genuine. "But I really need your assistance."

Maxine looked at him with a blend of interest and caution, her forehead wrinkling in puzzlement.

"What kind of assistance are you offering?" She inquired cautiously with curiosity.

As he mustered up his courage, he looked her straight in the eyes and said firmly,

“Listen, I understand that this is a lot to ask, but my grandmother's happiness means the world to me. I need your help to make her final days special. Will you marry me, even if we're strangers?”

Maxine's eyes widened in surprise, She was taken aback by his assertiveness. She paused for a moment, considering his words carefully. and she hesitated for a moment before responding.

"I appreciate your situation, but I can't just agree to marry someone I barely know. I admire your dedication to your grandmother, but marriage is a serious commitment. We barely know each other. Please find another way to bring her joy, one that doesn't involve such a drastic step." She answered with a firm look.

He understood her hesitation and nodded, acknowledging her concerns realizing that his request was indeed quite unusual.

"You're right, it's a lot to ask. I apologize for putting you in such an awkward position.”

With a sense of urgency in his gaze and desperation , he persisted,

"This marriage is merely a façade, and you'll have the option to dissolve it anytime of your choice. Name your terms, and I'll make sure they're met. I implore you to think it over."

Maxine hesitated, uncertainty clouding her expression as she weighed his proposal. But then, after a moment's deliberation, she nodded slowly, accepting with a hint of reluctance.

"Fine," she said, her voice reflecting her unwillingness." But only because it seems like the lesser of two evils."

With that, the deal was struck, sealing their fate in an unlikely alliance born out of circumstances. As they stepped into the courtroom, Sammy felt a wave of relief knowing he wouldn't have to disappoint his grandmother.

As fate would have it, Maxine had her own agenda for being in the park that day. She had put all her resources into her ex-boyfriend's business, only to be deceived and left with nothing. Heartbroken and desperate, she sought solace in the peaceful sanctuary of the park, unaware that her unexpected encounter with Sammy would alter the course of her life forever.

Reluctantly, she agreed to his proposal, sensing that destiny had a plan for them both, whether they embraced it or not.

"Do you, Sammy, agree to take Maxine as your lawful wife?" The magistrate inquired.

Sammy confidently affirmed, "I do."

The same question was posed to Maxine, who hesitantly responded, "I do," with a reluctant sigh.

“I now pronounce you both husband and wife” the magistrate ended her words there.

Benita's face beamed with joy as the union was solemnized. The marriage was now official, sealed with their vows. As they exchanged rings, a sense of unity and anticipation filled the air, marking the beginning of their journey together.

As the ceremony drew to a close and the last strains of the wedding march faded away, Sammy turned to Maxine , his new bride, and offered her a small, apologetic smile.

"I'm sorry, Maxine ," he whispered, his voice barely audible over the din of the crowd. "Thank you so much for agreeing to do this with me. As your husband, anything you need let me know, Mrs Fadd.

Maxine returned his smile with a sad, resigned expression of her own.

"It's okay, Sammy . I understand. I hope you find a good lawyer for the divorce as you promised".

As the tension thickened, Sammy handed Maxine a sleek black card, his voice laced with intrigue.

“Take this card,”he whispered, 'the password is 0044.'

Maxine’s curiosity piqued, and they continued their conversation. Sammy, his eyes filled with anticipation, proposed,

“I don't mind if you move in with me. It'll add an extra layer of authenticity to our arrangement.” He paused, his tone expectant, and then asked, "My bad, I never asked, do you have a boyfriend?”

Maxine’s heart skipped a beat as she replied, 'No, I don't.'

The room fell silent for a moment, and then Sammy with mischievous grin on his face, exclaimed,

“Great!”

His interruption cut through Maxine's statement, leaving everyone wondering what would happen next.
