Depression , sadness and pain that is all I feel . although my father is the alpha of the pack , majority of the pack members still treat me like dirt . They even went as far as protesting for my father’s dismissal as the alpha cause he has a sick daughter .

Growing up ,I was locked in a chamber and when everyone thought I was healed finally ,my sickness came in double folds .

My father and my brothers went in search of the greatest healer and after visiting so many packs ,They finally found the healer . Thinking I will be healed finally ,The healer made us know that the only cure is for me to be “mated”. My father knowing fully well how the male in the whole pack and neighboring pack won’t accept me as their mate ,he asked her for another solution but the healer said that is the only cure to my sickness .she gave me a temporary cure for fourty days and after that fourty days ,the temporary cure won’t work anymore and by then if I have not found my mate ,I will die!

This is my life . A sad ,pathetic ,lonely ,sick and burdensome life .

It’s been ten days already ,and my mate is still nowhere to be found . My father ,my brothers and their men made it a priority to find my mate as time is going so fast .but i have given up already and have lost hope in living .

My brother ran into my room ,he was breathing so fast

I poured him a glass of water to drink to calm him down .

“I have good news” my elder brother

What is the good news ? You found your mate ?

No shut up ! No one cares about my mate . All we need is your mate

Okay so you found my mate ? Well ,something like that . So the white moon pack are having their alpha ceremony for Collins.

So how does that help with finding my mate ? Okay so the white moon pack are the most peaceful and United pack and whenever they have an alpha ceremony ,Alphas ,Germans and betas from different pack ,will always be invited to their alpha ceremony .

So how are you sure my mate is one of them ? We are not sure but we know this is a good chance . I will send a stylist and designer to your room , cooperate with them and don’t ask too many questions .

What ?!!! The ceremony is today ?!! Yes it is .

Few hours later ,the stylist and designer were all done . And In my opinion the dress and makeup is too Much for me . Some people might think I came to the ceremony to seduce Collins and other alphas .

My father and my brothers came in and as usual they had to be dramatic as always .

“Oh my Goodness , look at my princess” Dad , honestly I think this is too much

“ what are you saying young lady ?” Seriously Ethan just look at me ,isn’t everything too much ? I look like I’m going to steal the new alpha from his mate .

“Who cares ?” My younger brother Ezikel embraced me tightly .

“ They should be happy they get to see Cinderella once in their entire life “ Ezikel ?! When did you become so good at sweet talking people ?

“Okay since you don’t want us to admire your beauty , at least let’s go find you a perfect mate then .”

But dad , Emmy is not here yet

“Baby you know your twin brother will always come late . He might probably come on his own”

I just pray he doesn’t show up at all , cause that guy is trouble . Ethan don’t say that , Emmy is sweet just learn to understand him better .

Whatever let’s go get my little beautiful sister a mate .

Few minutes later , we got to the ceremony and everyone eyes were on us .

Dad and Ethan left to greet Collins and his father , leaving i and Ezikel alone .

Ezikel and i sat down together and In less than ten minutes , Ezikel is gone .

I was sitting peacefully on my own , playing games on my phone . Then an unknown guy sat down beside me .

“Hey!” He said

Hi! I replied and then I went back to my game and the guy walked away .Ethan sat down beside me immediately

And I can tell he’s angry .he snatched my phone and he kept it in his pocket.

Hey ! What was that for ?

Emerald do you think this is all joke or what ? We brought you here to find your mate not to play this stupid game throughout .

Okay so what do you expect me to do ?

Walk around , talk to people and when you feel the mate bond with anyone , let us know . That is all you need to do

I was walking around , then I spotted a little bar . I decided to have a shot and honestly I don’t know when I had five shots . I was about having the sixth one , then someone collected it from me .

I looked at the person and In my drunk state I could still see him . My lovely twin brother

I hurriedly stood up and I hugged him .

I started crying and he was patting my back gently .

“I missed you Emmy “ I told my twin brother and he smiled

“ how are you my princess ? Why did you take so many shots ? Sit here let me get you water and a jacket . Do not move emerald ! Just sit right there

Okay ?”

Okay I smiled at him and waved at him .

I was looking around and I saw some few girls looking at me and it looks like they want to cut off my head . I saw Ezikel at the corner of the pool talking to a girl , so I stood up to meet him . I was running towards him and just like that , I was in the deep pool , drowning . I thought to myself , this is the end emerald. But then I was brought out of the pool , feels like an Angel brought me out .

I could hear people voice but my eyes were closed . It still feels like I’m deep in the water . All of a sudden I started coughing , and I’m conscious again . I looked around and I saw everyone .

I looked at the guy in front of me and I asked him

“Am I alive ? Or are we in another world ?” The guy lightly chuckled . He collected a suit from someone and he put it on my shoulder . Then he stood up and he left . It dawned on me that he was the one that brought me out of the pool , so he saved me and immediately I shouted

Thank you ! !!!!!

He turned and he looked at me without saying anything and then he left with so many men at his back.

Who can he be ?

Emmy and Ezikel pulled me up and Ezikel covered me up with a blanket . We left the ceremony and immediately we got home , I went inside my room .

I still can’t believe it , I find a guy fascinating .

Throughout that night , I was thinking about him .

He has the alpha aura but I know all the huge and highly respected alphas so why don’t I know him ? Did he just become an alpha ? I need to figure out who exactly this mysterious man is .

When I woke up the next morning, I had my bath and I went downstairs for breakfast . I was the first on the table and everyone came afterwards.

They were all shocked . Cause since when mum died , I don’t eat downstairs with everyone . I eat in my room alone

“ baby , are you okay ?” Yes dad I’m fine

I just feel it is the right time to eat with everyone

We all ate in silence and then Emmy walked in banging the door loudly

“ dad , I need to speak with you urgently!” Has you can see son , I’m having breakfast and I’m not ready to listen to any of your problem this morning.”
